without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His

Prayers
- Cry out to God in mercy on behalf of this nation of people – “Gangs and Gang leaders”.
- Isaiah 43:25-26 - "I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. 26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified”. Lord, we are still pleading for Your mercy; we are asking for this because You are our Great High Priest and also because these souls are Yours; and mostly because You do not desire that any soul should perish, but that they repent and live; we plead that You forgive them all as they are entrapped and at the will of the enemy.
- Hebrews 7:24-25 – “But Jesus lives forever and continues to be a Priest so that no one else is needed. He is able to save completely all who come to God through him. Since he will live forever, he will always be there to remind God that he has paid for their sins with his blood”. Lord Jesus, You who saved Saul of Tarsus and Nicky Cruz, You are able to save even this nation. As You are their only Priest and Eternal Saviour, please plead their case with Your Father – their Father, Your God – their God. Please open Your book of remembrance concerning this Your people as You became the only sacrifice that could be offered for even the sins of these lost souls. Therefore let Thy blood, Your precious blood, begin to speak as an atonement for their many sins; thank You for being their Advocate before God Thy Father.
- The work of salvation is of God and not of man. Holy Spirit, send out unto them God’s labourers – men and women of salvation, who will draw them unto the Way, bring them unto the Truth and show them the Life that is only attainable and acceptable in Christ.
- Proverbs 21:1 - As their hearts are in Thy hands Lord, set unrest into their hearts until they come to the place of obedience in Christ; open their eyes to see the choking of their sinful works around them and against God Almighty.
- Holy Spirit, begin Your Calvary work upon them; drain out every carnality (spirit of violence/rebellion) inside of them; flush out every strength that is of the evil one in them and fill them with the light of Christ; keep them at the place of the Cross, feeding them with Your spiritual milk and strengthen them – Acts 9:18-19a; daily keep them at the place of the Cross and of the blood, so that they have the full effect of it.
- Lord, may they not escape the Gospel of repentance – full complete repentance – so that they do not go back to their vomit; therefore Holy Spirit, baptize them into Your repentance; activate their soul unto repentance so that they may live Your kingdom life.
- Lord Jesus, when You encounter a sinner, You desire genuine repentance. Hence Lord, in Your mysterious way, offset the heart of the old nature inside of them and reset in preparation of a new heart. Cause divine surgical circumcision to take place; inject godly sorrow of repentance into their hearts that will take away every trait/character that is not of Christ in them.
- Thank You for this great mysterious deliverance that You shall wrought inside of them and upon them O Lord, for only You is able to do all these. Thank You God for the victory that is available to them through Jesus – Alleluia!
- Holy Spirit, in obedience to Christ, align and re-align their will into God’s will; help them to begin to walk in Your holiness and in Your righteousness, so that they too can also begin to bear fruits unto Christ.
Prayers Against the Destructive Spirit of Rebellion
Isaiah 15:23a – “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft…”
Isaiah 30:1 – “Woe to the
rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that
cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin…”
Lord Jesus, this was and is Your declaration
unto them who dwell in rebellion; rebellion tends to dwell among so many of
Your people, mainly the youths. It tends to be the order of the day when
situations arise. Those that You have put in authority
(parents/carers/guardians/government/establishments) are helpless to put this
spirit under control. We are not ignorant of the devices of the devil as Your
Word has told us that, "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the
minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of
Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."
And so Lord, we
pray this day that because You have been made the Head above all principalities
and powers, rebuke this evil spirit in the hearts of men. Help them Holy Spirit
to turn to God so that they can forsake this spirit – repent of its ways, as
they receive mercy.
As Your Word has
warned us that rebellion darkens the spiritual eyesight of a man and it deafens
the ears from hearing God’s voice, Lord, Your Word is clear that judgement will
come upon the rebellious - "And I will make thy tongue cleave to the
roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a
reprover: for they are a rebellious house."
And so our Great Deliverer, please come with
Your delivering power and rebuke this demonic spirit. [Please pray as the Holy Spirit gives you utterance against this evil spirit]
