Join this HeartCry Prayer: Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11:30am - 1:30pm (UK time)
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my
face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will
forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Psalm 126 (MSG)
It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God
returned Zion’s exiles. We laughed, we sang, we couldn’t believe our good
fortune. We were the talk of the nations— “God was wonderful to them!” God
was wonderful to us; we are one happy people. And now, God, do it again— bring rains to our drought-stricken lives,
So those who planted their crops in despair will shout hurrahs at the harvest, So
those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with
armloads of blessing.
Prayers:
- Lord, the Church is Your Church, she is Your Body, Your Bride. Thank You for Your plan and purpose for her.
- Ephesians 3:10: Your intention is to show forth Your manifold wisdom through the Church to principalities and power. Lord, thank You, for not abandoning Your intentions for the Church. Thank You, Lord for in Your mercy You will cast her off forever but You seek for her return.
Jeremiah 3:11-25
O Father, I approach the throne of grace concerning the
church. I come humbly, acknowledging our sins, our neglect of You and of Your
mysterious gospel. Humbly I fall at Your feet today seeking mercy, mercy,
mercy, Lord.
Prayers:
- Lord, You will not bypass Your church in this coming revival, but first there must be genuine repentance. The Lord is waiting for the church to come in humbly penitence, confessing her sins and seeking mercy. Please Lord, bring the church to complete and genuine repentance before You.
- By Your Spirit, Lord, let there be deep godly sorrow for sin which leads to repentance.
- Let repentance be widespread from pulpit to pew, young and old. Let none be left out. Let there be such repentance that will attract Your mercy on the church.
Isaiah 58:12 (KJV)
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou
shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The
restorer of paths to dwell in.
Prayer:
- Lord, raise me up to build old waste places of the Church for You.
- Let those who You will bring out of my little life be builders, repairers and restorers in the church.
Isaiah 42:22 KJV
But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of
them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey,
and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
Ephesians 5:24-27 KJV
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the
church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the
washing of water by the word, That he might present it
to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing;
but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Prayers:
- Lord, You have revived Your Church before. Do it again in our day, send Your quickening Spirit to revive the church so that her intended glory shall shine forth. Revive, Lord. Restore, restore Your church Lord, we cry.
- Father, by the cleansing power of Your Holy Spirit, let the Church be cleansed and made whole again.
- Restore to her pulpits the complete gospel of Christ- let her be cleansed by the water of Your word. Let every spot, every wrinkle and blemish be removed by mystery of the gospel.
Revive Thy Work, O Lord
1.Revive
Thy work, O Lord,
Thy
mighty arm make bare;
Speak
with the voice that wakes the dead,
And
make Thy people hear.
2.Revive
Thy work, O Lord,
Disturb
this sleep of death;
Quicken
the smold’ring embers now
By
Thine almighty breathe.
3.Revive
Thy work, O Lord,
Create
soul-thirst for Thee;
And
hungering for the bread of life
O
may our spirits be.
4.Revive
Thy work, O Lord,
Exalt
Thy precious name;
And,
by the Holy Ghost, our love
For
Thee and Thine inflame.
5.Revive
Thy work, O Lord,
Give
Pentecostal showers;
The
glory shall be all Thine own,
The
blessing, Lord, be ours.
